Seona’s POV
I wake from a troubled sleep to the early morning sunlight streaming through the thin curtains that cover the window. Sitting up in the double bed, I look around the unfamiliar room that is clean but sparce, I get the feeling that the owner spends very little money on herself and her needs when she was here. From what I could see of the room across the hall last night, the occupant had been a child, and every penny was most likely spent on them.
I push back the covers, climbing out of the bed before straightening everything up neatly. I run a hand over the t-shirt that I’m wearing that falls past my knees it’s so large. I rub the hem of the soft, well washed fabric between my fingers and thumb absentmindedly before dropping it back into place.
Padding my way toward the bedr……
