Gage’s POV

Waking up, the first thing I become aware of is the warm body beside me, at some point I’ve rolled onto my back, and Hali has curled into my side, her head pressed to my chest and her arms wrapped around my body, holding me tightly to her.

Carefully I lift her arm from my chest, moving out form under her and tugging down my pillow that the realtor instinctively curls around, hugging it to her chest.

Climbing out of the bed, I grab my clothes, pulling them on as quietly as I can, and head out of the room, walking across the hall to the bathroom and use the facilities.

Heading downstairs, I look out the back door, the sun is already up and I’m relieved to find that the snow storm is over, leaving an idyllic looking canvas of untouched snow behind that is most likely at least three foo……
