We’re on our way back to the apartment, Seona is quiet as she fiddles with the handle of her purse beside me in the truck, lost in her own thoughts.

I’m glad she’s finally divorcing that scumbag, equally happy that she’s going to try and get everything she can from him because f.uck knows he owes her at least that, but from what I’ve seen of the asshole, he’s not going to like it. I know I’ll need to step up my game, be even more vigilant as Davis is going to want to try and change Seona’s mind, either through empty promises or violence, or both. I don’t want to give him the chance to do either, so I need to increase my surveillance, but also our sessions in the gym as they are increasing both her strength and confidence every day.
