Callan's POV
The baker’s eyes widen as she stares at me, ‘what? No! We can’t . .’ she starts to argue, forcing my to press my lips to hers again to silence her.
‘Yes you can’ I tell her, ‘all you have to do is say yes and I’ll pack you up right now and take all your stuff home.’
My woman nibbles on her lip as her gaze flies to Maxton again, ‘your apartment isn’t very big . . ‘ she mumbles, her head warring with her heart, ‘Maxie has a lot of stuff . . .’
‘So, we’ll buy a house’ I reply with a shrug, ‘anywhere you want. We could look at the same community that Harry and Gage are living, it’s gated, the streets are quiet, and they have good sized back yards for a swing set and stuff.’
Mackenzie stares at me incredulously, ‘you’d just up and move’ she asks, ‘just like that?’
I nod, never mor……
