Hallick’s POV

Seona and I fall into a routine, now that she’s starting to feel more comfortable, the blonde woman is sleeping better and every morning I’m now up at least an hour before she emerges. Due to this, set the coffee machine running, unload the dishwasher and check my emails until I hear her moving around. Once noises come from the master bedroom, I set to work cooking breakfast, setting out Seona’s cup with a teabag and flicking on the kettle so it boils just as she emerges, dressed in one of her sensible skirt and blouse combos.

I wish she would relax enough to wear something a little less formal, with me sitting around in t-shirts and jeans, I feel like Seona is still uncomfortable, her attire more suited to a receptionist’s job than lounging at home.
