Harrison’s POV
I can’t keep up with this woman’s delusions, she’s smiling manically, envisioning our wedding in her mind.
‘So, it was you that broke into my father’s grounds a few nights ago, and smashed his window with a rock’ I clarify with barely suppressed ire.
Iris nods, her eyes widening innocently, ‘I hoped that she’d realise that I knew what she was doing. I wrote a note to tell her that her ploy wasn’t fooling me, and that she needed to leave you alone, I wanted her to stop using you! But instead, she turned it into a way to hide from me, she made you think she needed protecting and had you bring her out here alone, no doubt under the guise of needing you to keep her safe.
She’s clever, I’ll give her that, I had no way to find you or warn you of what trouble you were in, I’d ti……
