‘Three hundred and fifty thousand dollars?’ Callan yells loudly, jumping to his feet, his eyes wide as his gaze swings from me to Harrison and back ‘what the f.uck man?’
The Marine sighs, rubbing his thumb over his forehead ‘I know, that’s what I said to the asshole who rang me’ he mutters bitterly
‘What did he reply?’ I ask angrily, hands curled into fists as I fight the urge to stand up and punch the door to my brother's office. Wasn't so long ago the man put his own fist through it, the last thing we need is to have to replace it again, especially after this huge blow to our plans.
‘He said he didn’t appreciate my language, and that they have a zero tolerance for abuse toward their staff before hanging the phone up on me’ my brother responds, looking just as pissed off as ……
