Seona’s POV
I’m finally being let out of the hospital, I don’t have a concussion and the damage to my ribs and arm are starting to heal. I had a fair bit of internal bruising but it turns out that nothing was ruptured, I was lucky.
I wince as I inch my legs over the edge of my bed, the doctors encouraged me to start moving around, starting with the bathroom and I really need to pee.
I push on my slippers, and pray that my gown will keep my ass covered as I shuffle to the door and open it, gritting my teeth against the pain.
Peeking out I find the now familiar form of Hallick to the right of the door, back ramrod straight as his face swivels immediately to me, aware of my presence even though the door didn’t make a sound.
‘Bathroom?’ he asks gruffly, which is pretty much the extent of ……
