"Your Majesty," Angel said as he stood close to the door of the hit springs, his hands clasped both respectfully and slightly fearfully in front of him, his eyes dim as he watched Lucan. "The catavan just left. Until the end, Lady Adeline was.."
"She is not lady Adeline!" Lucan suddenly roared, his hands splashing the scented water around, his chest heaving hard. "She may be princess of her land,, but I have not taken her as a lady of mt court. And I never will."
Angel bit down on his lips. He knew Lucan too well for him to hold this resentment against him. Instead, he felt pity. Lucan was never the type to want something bad, too many times.
