Adeline's lips parted open, her tears running down to the edge of her bottom lip, her heart pounding hard in her chest. She shook her head, her eyes darting around as if she were looking for the piece of memory that she was missing.
At first, she had forgotten who had given her that bracelet. She just knew she was never able to throw it away or give it out. So, instead of wearing it in her hand and being unable to explain it to anyone due to its unique design, she put it into her hair.
Later, however, she started to remember bits of pieces about the bracelet. The snow. Winter. Blood stained the white blanket of snow. A crying child that seemed a few years older than her. The lack of explanation behind the images made her hold on to the bracelet even tighter and now...
