"The one and only," Lucan chuckled as he walked into the room.

Adeline slowly stood up, but he shook his head, gesturing for her to remain seated. To her own surprise, she slowly sat back down, her lips parted as she turned away from him. She felt her anticipation heighten with each step he took towards her, and it felt even worse because sh4 could not see him.

"Is this your bracelet?" He asked when he was finely behind her, his eyes resting on the beautiful locks of golden hair. It made him laugh how the things he had loved as a young boy and now as a man were exactly the same.

"Well, I use it for my hair, but I guess tis a bracelet."

Lucan slowly leaned to her but kept his hands away from her. He knew the dynamics of their relationship had changed and shifted, and now he did genuinely care a……
