Seth Returns

Entering the front of Silver Lake, the village was eerily quiet. Seth checked the Lodge, but no one was there. Same with the pack house.

Spotting a she-wolf putting out washing. Seth stopped to ask her where everyone was.

“Everyone left to go rescue Beth.” She assumed he was just back from searching. She didn’t recognise him, but they had help from other packs.

“Which way did they go?” Seth didn’t know who Beth was, but what he did know, was that Helena would be with them.

Getting directions, he shifted again and raced out again. He didn’t know what he was going to say, but he needed to see her. Drawing on all his strength, he picked up speed until the trees became a blur.
