Jackson was pacing up and down Helena’s hospital room. She was having her dressings changed by a kind pack nurse. He had so many thoughts racing through his head. The first being how he was going to deal with Seline.
“We still have pack dungeons.” He muttered.
The nurse stood to her feet, giving him a quick smile.
“She’s all done, but she needs rest. Not stress.” She held his gaze until he nodded. Picking up Helena’s chart, she wrote on it quickly and then left the room.
Jackson was immediately back in the chair by Helena’s bed. Taking her hand in his, he looked at her with concern. Taking in the cuts on her face and throat. She was already healing, Adessa was a strong wolf. He knew she just needed time.
Helena gazed at Jackson, she knew that she had a lot m……
