Helena closed her bedroom door and slumped to the floor, her breath coming in short ragged bursts. She was exhausted, embarrassed and overwhelmed. During training, she had been paired up with a young teen she-wolf who had recently started warrior training. She had beaten Helena over and over again. The training had finally ended when Helena had taken a punch to the nose. With a loud c***k, she had poured blood all down her shirt. Jackson’s gamma had called a halt, and asked her if she wanted to finish for the day.
Helena had gone home to the pack house with her head down. Not wanting to catch anyone’s eye. Her wolf had already healed her nose, but the embarrassment would take much longer to get over. Her emotions pouring over, she burst into tears. How could she win a war against sea……
