What my grandfather revealed to me was something I was not expecting. The spare of this family is a unique seer wolf. But my powers won't be enough to protect the woman I love. The irony is that I would give everything to protect her, even my powers.
I was sure my powers would come into full force once midnight struck. I was afraid for Lia but primarily for what was to come. I needed a plan and fast. After Gramps left, I sat in the library, wondering what I must do, but I came out empty. I took a deep breath and made my way to my bedroom.
I took a shower and got dressed. While combing my hair, I saw something neatly placed on a bookshelf in the reading corner. I squinted my eyebrows and made my way there. I took the colorful book and chuckled. It was the book Mom read me as……
