Grecco entered the room and sighed. “Hey, sweet cheeks!” he said in a sassy voice, and I rolled my eyes.
“How is everyone doing?” I asked him, and he sighed.
“Good, but we have new developments. Adam… he is just wired to look after you, muffin.” He said, and I rolled my eyes again. He shook his head and sent me a displeased smirk. Since he was instructed to pretend to be my love interest, he has tried all the pet names in the book, but after each one, he grimaces. It was a fun thing to see.
“Muffin?” I lifted my eyebrows, and he laughed,
“I am running out of ideas…” He sighed, and I laughed.
“What kind of developments?” I used to sit comfortably on the couch, lifting my swollen feet over a cushion.
“I am not supposed to tell you…” he bit his lower lip. I was sure he had been ……
