We spent the entire night in the cold, with the sea breeze cutting our skin. Dominic seemed unphased; I was completely uncomfortable, and the cold night made it almost impossible to concentrate on anything.
Close to sunrise, Dominic looked at me and sighed. "The more you think about how cold and uncomfortable you are, the more cold and uncomfortable you will become. The more you refuse to put your mind at ease, the slower this process will be. You need a clear mind and an open heart to channel your visions..." He explained, and I rolled my eyes. Why didn't he say that at the beginning? We would have saved both of us a chilled night and possible cold afterward.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. The temperature was lifting a little, easing the cold air, and the sun was……
