" Hey Xanda, have you seen Jania around ? " Kalen asked, just as me and Tasmin were about to break off to go see Penny. I turned my head and, as cool as a cucumber, I shook my head at him. " No. I haven't seen her. She has been keeping herself away from me, it seems. Which is odd. I expected her to be giving me more grief. We both know Jania doesn't give up on what she wants easily. Make sure to keep an eye on her and that she isn't up to anything impulsive or Jania like " I gave it as a warning. He walked closer to us and looked at Tasmin. He wanted to say something but wasn't sure he could.
Then he looked around to make sure no one was close. " What is happening to your situation upstairs ? " He asked, which was obviously Penny he was talking about.
