I didn't believe him, I didn't want to believe him. Because if I did, he had his reasons for what he did and that would make me feel compassion towards him. I couldn't risk that, just with. Just an attraction towards him, I was letting him do things to me. If I felt any emotional connection towards him, what would that allow me to do? Let him mark me as his own ? Fall for him ?
