I had understood Penny's need for space, that is why I had not pushed. That is also why I eagerly agreed when Tasmin offered to train her and spend more time with her. She needed an outlet. I could see that all of those emotions were tearing her apart and leaving a whole gaping inside of her. Tasmin wouldn't tell me what they had spoken about, it seemed her loyalty was leaning more toward Penny now than me. I could see behind her words when asking to train her. Tasmin had taken up the role as Penny's protector. Even against me. I mean the fact that when I showed Tasmin my torture aka training room , she had stopped me from leaving. Her eyes were dead serious as she had faced off with me with all the skill of a future coven leader. She had threatened me.
