My heart hammered in my chest as we neared the cottage. I kept looking over at Tasmin to make sure she was OK as we walked down. As well as letting my wolf come near to the surface so that she could sense if any other wolves were near us. When we broke through the tree line and the village came into view. I pointed down to the cottage. " That is the one, and the village. It resembles the description, doesn't it ? " I asked Xanda. He scanned the entire thing, his jaw tense and eyes narrowed. He reached for my hand, taking it in a tight grip. Then he looked at me and nodded" It does" he stated, his voice hard and clipped.
He took a few more steps and I squeezed his hand. " He is in there. I can hear him moving around " I whispered. If I can hear him, he can hear us, no doubt.
