I saw his message but I couldn't just think about it. He didn't mean it! My father never text because he just calls and send someone to call you.

But Amanda? Does she know about my parents? Does she even know them.. The words echoed in my mind as I stood frozen in my office, the weight of my father's request pressing down on me like a heavy burden. What did he know about Amanda?
