Never would I have imagined that I was going to stay more than a month without being able to get Diana to give me to herself. We had not even been able to figure out what we wanted from each other.
At first, I thought that it was only going to take a few days or maybe a week before she would warm up to me, but wasn’t the case. It should have dawned on me that she was going to give me a tough time the very day we arrived at the mansion, but I still kept my hopes high.
The realization that I was in for so much more than I expected gave me sleepless nights, but I wasn’t ready to give up, not when there was a lot at stake.
