It had been two weeks since the ultimatum I gave to Davis, but he was yet to give me feedback on how he was progressing. I was literally bored and the constant nagging from Sylvia didn’t let me have any peace of mind.
I always reminded her about what the Doctor said about stressing herself, but it didn’t look like that was going to make her change her mind about bugging me like I was a teenager.
She was very suspicious of every movement I made, and she monitored me like she was certain that I was trying to do something she had always feared.
She thought I was still in search of Ariel even though everyone believed that she was dead, but there was no evidence of that. But she was right, and I knew that it was going to cause some more trouble in the future.
