ARIEL’S POV
It had been a week since the incident at the restaurant, but Davis had not stopped with his attempts to make up for his mistakes. I was glad that he was remorseful for his actions, but giving him a second chance was something I couldn’t just do willingly.
First of all, Davis was obviously a player, and I wonder why it took me that long to realize that. Maybe it was due to the fact that he was the angel I didn’t know, and choosing him against Luke seemed like a better option.
Apparently, nothing was going to make me regret not choosing Luke because he would have been my worse nightmare, and that wasn’t going to end well with me and my son.
Speaking of Will, he had started warning up to Davis, the same man who he considered a terrible person for no reason. I wondered what he must hav……
