I could see the tension written all over Samone’s face, I couldn’t understand why she was so worried about me when she was supposed to be concerned about making up with her son.

“Diana?” Fred called me back to reality after I had drifted for a few seconds. I just looked at him as though I didn’t remember the question he asked.

“I asked you a question, Diana. Was Samone here to see me? Or she came to cause some trouble?”

Of course, Fred knew who his mother was, but I couldn’t give him the particular response he was expecting. The look on his face was something I had never seen before, and at that moment I could tell that he was really angry.
