“Good Morning, Beautiful,” Anders says, pushing my messy hair from my face. I crack my eyes open and see his beautiful smile.
“Hi,” I say softly, taking his hand in mine. “You’re home.”
He nods and wraps his arms around me, holding me tightly. “I missed you,” he says softly into my neck, placing a kiss there. “I’m so glad to have you back in my arms.”
I giggle at him, tilting my head to give him better access as he smiles. “I missed you. I don’t want you to leave me again.”
He stops, pulling his head back. He cups my face gently and looks at me so seriously. “I’ll leave again. It’s what we do. But I will always, always come back for you, my love.”
I smile at him, reaching up to gently touch his shoulder. “My love, kiss me,” I tell him, the phrase that has becom……
