Amelia's POV

I'm still in shock at the news I just heard about Kessler's company and now, Marrock is telling me to get prepared so I can see Alpha Barker.

Like seriously?

"Marrock, are you joking?" I asked, walking after him.

I quickly turned to face him as he was about to enter his room when I noticed that he was angry.

"I'm sorry about what I said Marrock," I said.

"I still can't believe that you will support him after what he and Elena did to you. You are supposed to support me, yet you still criticize," Marrock said, trying to push his way into his room.

"Okay fine, I was just trying to have a good heart. I'm sorry if it got you angry, but am I seeing Alpha Barker for real?" I asked, smiling at him.

"Yeah," he replied, still not smiling.
