Chapter 13-The Lycan King's Dire Wolf Mate- Dreame

Maddox’s POV

Between the late night Friday and the half day meeting Saturday and then looking for my mate and Kurt’s I was exhausted from the lack of sleep. It wasn’t long into the trip that the sound of the tires on the asphalt of the road lulled me to sleep.

Maddox’s Dream

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a familiar cave. It was the same one I woke up in with Selene all those years ago. I knew she was here somewhere. This was her go to spot to talk to me when she had something important to say. I headed for the unlit fire pit and started to work on lighting it up. This may be a dream world, but it was still a bit chilly in this cave.

Once the fire was started I sat down and warmed my hands up with the heat from the flames. I waited for a good while b……
