Ember (POV)
I was still sitting at the counter waiting for Xavier to get back. I wanted to hear what uncle James and Seth said about their plan. I didn't really think much about Dominick. I didn't like him for what he did to my parents, but other than that, I didn't know much about him. Dimitri and Nick were the ones I wanted to sink my teeth into. No one wanted me to fight while my animals were still binded. I didn't see what the big deal was. My animals could come out when they wanted. I think. I know my wolf would come out ready to fight if she saw Nick or Dimitri.
I just need my animals unbidden already. I was tired of waiting. There was so much that I needed to do. Like challenge and kill Dominick and take my place as queen. I owe it to my family. To my parents and my brother.
