Xavier (POV)
I was trying to make my way through the crowd to get to Ember. I could tell she was drunk. I wanted to get her home a while ago, but she was having fun with Jess and Nina and I didn't want to argue with her when she asked to stay. Now the girls were on the dance floor and some asshole was grinding up on my girl.
She looks like she is struggling to get away from him. Jess and Nina are yelling, and I'm ready to start throwing people out of my way to get to them. Sam is right next to me pushing people out of the way. Conner, Sawyer and Jason are right behind us. I'm almost to them.
I see Ember struggling to get away, but he won't let her go. She is way more intoxicated than I originally thought. I can feel anger pulsing through me. My wolf is growling on the inside.
