Seth (POV)
I was sitting in Max's office with Max and King Victor, when Sam called. I could feel them staring at me while Sam told me what was going on. "I'll be on the first flight home." I said, hanging up the phone.
"You're leaving, now?" Max asked in disbelief.
"I'm sorry, I have to go."
"What could be more important than this meeting? Do you not care if we go to war?" Victor asked, pissed off.
"I have made it very clear I do not want a war with you and your people. But I have to get home now." I said, standing up.
"Tell me, what is so important, that you must return home now."
"My goddaughter is missing. She was taken from her room. Three of her friends were found bound by iron. I have to find her before she gets hurt."
"What is your goddaughter's name?" Victor asked.
"Ember." I said right ……
