"Where have you been?"

I lifted my shoulders in a shrug, looking at Hades and waiting for him to acknowledge what I had said. It was obviously difficult for me to keep myself from practically jumping over the counter and going to him. We were still within working hours of the cafe. It was one of the reasons why I was so caught off guard by the fact that he was actually here. After all, I hadn't seen him in ages, and yet, now, he decided to arrive here in the middle of the day. I knew that I needed to question what was going on. It wasn't going to do anything good if I just accepted whatever lame excuse he decided to give me.
