I could tell that she hadn’t been expecting me to share that particular piece of information with her. At first, confusion flooded her features and it became obvious that she was struggling to place who it was that I was talking about, but I saw the literal moment that she realised who it was that I was talking about. Her eyes widened to the point where I was expecting them to fall out. After all, it wasn’t everyday that I saw her pull her face in this particular manner. I could only begin to imagine what she was going to say when she finally managed to put something together.
“You’re joking with me. This is some sick joke to try and get some kind of reaction with me.”
She was shaking her head while she spoke, but the more she spoke and looked at me, the more I was able to r……
