Cat's POV
I couldn't move; I just looked at the diamond ring nonstop. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
'' that is a ring, Logan,'' I let out, and I could hear him chuckle.
'' I know it is. I thought if we were going to do this, we had to do it right, and what is more believable than a ring on your finger,'' Logan said.
'' But a diamond ring isn't that much,'' I asked.
'' My family knows me well; they will see through our lies if they don't see a diamond ring on your finger,'' He explained as he took the ring out of the box, urging me to let him put it on me.
I nodded nervously as I watched him put it on me, and it felt so real that it made me feel some kind of way, and I didn't like that.
