Cat's POV
I wanted to leave my room, so I could get started with my chores when Lupe busted into my room, with anger apparently written on her face.
''What are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be attending to me like you always do,'' Lupe yelled.
'' I am so sorry, I will get right on it,'' I said as I bowed my head in respect.
'' Sorry to yourself, you are good for nothing, my dad does not pay you to sit around and do nothing,'' Lupe yelled.
'' But your dad does not pay me anything, I was made a slave in my father's house,'' I answered.
'' And that is why you shall be a slave forever, you and this your stupid brother,'' Lupe yelled, and that was when I got angry.
So, even though I was much younger than she was, I grasped at her hair, pulling……
