THALIA

After our conversation with Elder Imre, I headed to my cabin. While others were taking advantage of the full moon, some were shifting into their wolf form and roaming around the territory. Meanwhile, the other women were cleaning up after dinner.

The repeated rejection by Alpha Aldric left me with a deep wound. I lay on my bed, but I couldn't sleep. I felt overwhelming sadness and lacked the energy to move. I couldn't sense Athena's presence either; she was hiding deep within my mind.

I stayed in that position for several minutes until I decided to get up and leave my cabin. I went outside and sat on a bench near the garden, gazing sadly at the bright, full moon. While others were happy to see their mates, I felt only pain. Alpha Aldric ruined the definition of having a mate ……
