THALIA

We arrived safely and peacefully at the Blood Rose Pack. Alpha Aldric and the others were shocked to see the dead bodies being burned by the soldiers. Alpha Aldric's car proceeded to enter the Blood Rose Pack.

King Lucian was immediately taken to the infirmary, while the child stayed with me. Fortunately, the child was quiet and didn't even ask for her parents. Perhaps she already knew what had happened.

"Who's the child with you, Thalia?" I didn't notice Sheila approaching me.

"She's with the king," I said with a smile.

"Is the king here?" she asked excitedly.

I nodded. "He's already inside the infirmary," I replied.

"Come on, let's go see him. I want to see him," Sheila said, inviting me to join her.

"Your brother might get angry. Let's visit him another day. I'm tired and want ……
