The gala have just taken a bad turn as my father had shown up to start trouble. I tried my best to diffuse the potential mob fight that could ignite at any moment between the Bernardi's and Rossi's families, especially when Don Rossi and Victor Bernardi were in the same room together. My father had asked for a private conversation with me that Victor normally would not have allowed if it wasn't for the fact that he could not be Don Bernardi in front of these influential political elites. Although I suspect this could easily change at any moment.
