My business dinner with Victor went as well as could be expected, given that he was the last person I wanted to see after he stole my company right out from under me. I knew I would have to buy my time to rectify this but, in the meantime, I had to be smart and use this opportunity to my benefit.
Victor was right about one thing. Bernardi Corp. elevated Rinascita to new heights overnight, but with this came the pressure to deliver. I calculated that I needed a minimum of 40 to 80 designer outfits for a show lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour, 20 models minimum, to keep up good pacing with wardrobe changes, stage design, sound, and music and advertisement. All this in three weeks was nearly impossible.
I ended my dinner with Victor right after the main course as I noticed he kept plyi……
