My favorite days of the week just get boring.
My phone rang, and I answered to hear a stern voice at the other end.
"Hello, this is the Altona Police Force. Can I speak to Aina?"
"This is her," I responded hesitantly, wondering why the police were calling me.
"We would like to request that you come to the Altona Police Station as soon as possible. It's regarding an issue concerning a young mother. There are allegations that she may be involved in the recent abductions of people in the area."
My heart began to race as I processed the information. I had no idea that the young mother could be involved in something so serious.
"Of course, I'll come right away," I replied, my voice shaky with nerves.
I quickly got dressed and made my way to the police station, feeling anxious and unsure about……
