Watching Avery give birth was the most terrifying and amazing thing I'd ever been fortunate enough to see. She was so powerful, her body working perfectly to bring two beautiful babies into the world. I was looking forward to being able to maybe relax a bit, get to know these two little ones, and help her recover, until her veins started turning black. The further it spread, the more pain she seemed to be in.
"Guys... what do we do?" Roman said, panic edging into his voice as he tried to hold a wet washcloth to her sweaty forehead.
"I don't know man... I don't know what's happening, or where it's coming from..." Nik replied, "hey baby girl, you're going to be alright, everything is going to be okay. Do you think you can heal yourself?"
"No," she panted, leaning forward to clutc……
