Nicholo's heart pounded as he made his way through the dimly lit forest, the scent of pine and earth mingling with the lingering sweetness of Lucia’s embrace. The moon hung high in the sky, casting silvery beams that guided his path back to the den. His mind was a whirlwind of emotions, torn between the warmth he felt with Lucia and the heavy expectations of his lineage.
As he approached the den, the familiar structure of his home came into view, illuminated by the soft glow of lanterns. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for the night ahead.
