Atlas's POV
She acted tough but I knew she missed me and I missed her too. Since we stopped talking to each other, I went into a mood and snapped at anyone who tried to speak with me.
I buried myself in the project I was handling with Beta Gillian so I could forget about her but it didn't work. Each time I closed my eyes to sleep, I remembered our make out at the lake and how she quivered under my touch.
It was becoming unbearable but I managed to keep my feelings in check till the party.
I watched her take a glass of champagne and swallowed everything in a gulp. She scrunched her face then took another glass and that was it.
She yawned frequently, showing how bored she was, then I ended the conversation with some of the group of friends I chatted with.
