Lorraine was already seated in the dining hall when the three of us arrived. We were elated that she asked us to dinner. We were stunned when she came to our room, and thought that maybe she might be able to start feeling the bond, or at least it was helping her along. Either way, I was counting down the hours until dinner all day.
Noah suggested we cancel, given how awful of a day she had. He even went as far as to find her immediately after their class and ask her for a rain check. But he said she nearly bit his head off for even suggesting it. So he sent me to check on her a little over an hour ago and see if I could convince her to do something easy for dinner.
