This was the most uncomfortable situation I had ever been in, and I wanted desperately for my father to disappear and go somewhere else for a bit so that I could have a moment alone with James... But as I watched Alpha Damon standing there, with his hands on his hips, looking like he was about to throw James across the room... I knew that I would not be so lucky.
"James, I am sorry. But you need to stop. I love you, and I want this just as badly as you do... But I have somewhere that I need to be right now, and I am late." It did not feel right to lie to the man I love. But I was desperate and did not know how else to escape this scenario. I pushed James back gently once again.
