I watched as Winter rushed from the room with her niece. I could feel her brother’s glare.

“Do you want to tell me why the hell you were on your knees, touching my sister?” Wyatt demanded.

“Wyatt,” I looked over to see Winter’s best friend’s hand on her brother’s chest. “I’m sure it's not what it looks like. Winter doesn’t touch hockey players.” Sydney told him. “I’m going to go see her,” she patted his chest before walking out of the room.
