She walked into the room slowly, holding a tray of tea. She stopped for a moment as she saw him sitting close to the window with the heavy breeze blowing the curtains across his face.
Alex's portrait could be seen resting on his laps as he caressed it softly with his head bowed a little. This was his normal routine and he had never left his room since her demise, two weeks ago.
"Adrian," she called softly, walking to the chair where he was seated.
"Nat, I told you to stay off this room, I want to be alone..," he grunted without looking at her face.
"Adrian, you aren't going to stay this way forever. You haven't even looked at your baby, you haven't even looked at my face..," she cried, kneeling beside him.
He remained silent and she shut her eyes bitterly as she saw the tears that trickled dow……
