Hello, Stepbrother
SABRINA His hands were hot against my thighs. I drew my bottom lip in between my teeth and bit hard as I watched the hand trail up my thighs. Heat spread as he went, and I forced myself not to moan from the sensations that were buliding inside of me. My back hit the bed, and the linen sheets beneath me, did their job. Grazing softly against my skin, they certainly added to the mood in the room. How I had gone from attending prom, to being dragged away frrom the dancefloor by the misterious man on top of me, was something I was yet to understand, and didnt have any I looked up at the ceiling, and inhaled sharply when he wrapped his hand around the underside of my thigh, and just stopped moving all together. Why did he stop? I tried to turn my head and look down at him, but his husky voice stopped me. "Stay still, Sabrina." He murmured in a voice that was as familiar to me as the back of my palm. But for some reason, I couldn't place where I had heard that voice from. My brain was completely foggy at the moment, and all I could focus on were the sensations rushing through my body. "I..." I wanted to tell him to spread my legs apart, and take me, but my words were cut off when his face came into view. Dark wavy hair, cheseled face, and the sharpest jawline ever. His eyes, where the deepest crystal blue I had ever seen in my entire life. The face, which I loned to reach for, and see, who was enclosed behind a mask. Yeah..someone had brought up the idea to make the prom a masked one. ~ I inhaled and exhaled a total of ten times, then opened my eyes to stare at the image in the mirror. I almost screamed in frustration when the said image stared back at me. All on hundred and ninety six pounds of an overweight eighteen year old, stared back at me. My skin was pale. My hair was all over the place and refused to be tamed, no matter how hard i tried. My eyes were a dull green that looked like the life was sucked out of it. And the rest of my face just followed suit. I wasn't sure how it all happened, but for the past two years, I had kept on gaining so much weight, and it was never ending. Not anytime soon, judging by the large pizza box that winked at me from the corner of my room. I scrunched my nose, and turned away from the mirror, then pulled my hair into my usual messy bun, and continued to prepare for school. In a few weeks, I would be done with high school, and then I could hide from everyone. Get my much needed break. Heaven knew I needed it. "Sabrina!" My mother's voice rang out from behind the door. Although I knew she was probably downstairs. In the kitchen to be precise. "Coming!" I called back, and made a dash for my makeup bag which lay clumsily on my bedside table. I mean, I didn't need it, since I was still going to be referred to as fat and ugly, but it didn't hurt to doll up, at least. Five minutes later, and I was done with my make up, and stared at the mirror again. "Sabrina, if I have to come get you...." my mother warned again. This time, she sounded way too close for my liking. I tossed the bag back on the bedside table and grabbed my school bag, and dashed towards the door. "I said I was coming_" Every other thing I was about to say was cut shut by the arrival of the last person I wanted to see on a morning such as this one. I mean I had no choice than to be blessed with his presence every day of my life since I and my mother moved into his house. Well, his dad's house. But there was no difference. The fact was that he lived in the house too, and while I would want to change that, I knew it was next to impossible. Ian. Such a beautiful name, wasted on the second coldest person on the planet. The only other person who came first, was Zachary. Zach for short, and he was Ian's bestfriend. It was true what they said. Birds of the same feathers really did flock together. "Hello, step-sister." Ian drawled, smiling coldly as he came to a stop just outside my door, blocking my exit. He placed a hand on the door post over his head, and leaned in. "I can see you slept really good." I rolled my eyes, and fought the urge not to pretend to retch, as was my usual response to his not-so-kind greeting. "You know this is getting old already, step-brother." I made sure to emphasize on the address, as it was more of a joke, than it was real. My relationship with Ian, and how we got to where we were at the moment, was a story for another day. "You know you like it when I grace your pretty eyes every morning with my presence." he threw back, and proceeded to lean forward so he could ruffle my hair, and then disappeared before I could say, or do anything. "d**k!" I huffed under my breath, and arranged my hair as best as I could, ahile making my way out of the room, and after Ian, who disappeared down th e stairs. I hated him. "Sabrin_" I didn't let my mother fifnish, before I was interrupting her, and plopping my fat ass on one of the chairs at the dining table. "I'm already here, mother." I said in a bored tone. I reached for my phone and texted my best friend, Avery. She should have been having breakfast with us already! "Put that down, Sabrina. I just got off the phone with Avery's mother. They had to fly to San Fransisco urgently. Her father is in the hospital." My heart skipped a little at that, and I frowned. I blinked at my 'stepfather' who had just walked in, with his phone in his hand, and was the bearer of the news. Ian was the spitting image of his father, and well...you could say that he was extremely goodlooking. I was yet to understand just what exactly, his relationship with my mother was. "How? What happened to him?" I asked, concerned. I hadn't heard from Avery for the ost part of the weeken. And when we had finally spoken the previous night, she hadn't said anything to me about her father falling ill. Micheal, Ian's father, flickered his gaze towards my mother, whose shoulder sagged in a way that had me tensed up, then he turne his gaze back at me. "He fell, Sabrina. He fell through a faulty elevator. But it's a miracle he broke only a rib and an ankle." The way I let out a breath of relief, caused Micheal to pause. Ian huffed. That uncompasionate human. "I hope he gets better soon." I said, and picked up my toast. Both my mother, and Micheal, hummed in agreement. And for thr next few minutes, we focused on our breakfast, while I did my best to ignore Ian who was actually sitting very close to me. So close, that I could feel his warmth.. For someone so cold, the warmth that came with his brooding presence, was actually a surprise. Something flashed in my mind just then. "So, I guess I would be riding with Darren then." I said put loud, mostly to myself as I had been thinking of just who I was going to catch a ride with then. A very warm hand suddenly rested on my thighs at my thoughtless outburst. "No. You are riding with me." The finality in his tone had my thoughts reeling to a stop. Wait...what?
