The Family
A terrible Father, Zhan Fung, had a quarrel with his wife. “I don’t mean by rejecting you, please give me second place! I promise to repent all my fault, but you must accept me again.” His antique wife, Fang Yi, gave a second attempt to Fung, “I give you second chance, but you promise not to get drunk again! Why don’t you realize by yourself, we still have a little daughter? She can accomplish to imitate you in her teenager life, as a new inspiration for young adult. It’s bad, you should repent your bad habit!”
His cute daughter named Mei, sounded so drowning heart. “You can unite again, I know, Dad! I don’t want to see you divorce from Mom, I need her. Mom and Dad are my inspirations, giving me example in future!” Fung motivated Mei, “What do you wanna do, when Dad drinks medicine? Can you stop cry, please, I can’t concentrate at drive?” Mei cried so hurting mind, “Unite again, don’t leave me alone! I wanna meet Mom, I gonna hug her. Why must happen to me, all this divorce? Why can’t you answer me, Dad, about your divorce with Mom?”
Fung added the speed from Cheng Du to Nanjing, “Can you be quiet, please, Dad’s in hurry? We meet Mom in Nanjing, I promise you! I never leave you alone, we love you. Look at my eyes, I don’t tell lie! Why you always keep crying, answer me?” Mei cried more hysterically. “I can’t stay with this divorce, I feel lonely. Get out from my mind, don’t disturb me!”
Suddenly, a truck crashed Fung’s car. Fung and his daughter, Mei, had an accident. Fung caused of speeding up the car. They crashed the car, and made some traffic jam there. The car crashed onto a tree.
Fung awoke in an old creepy mansion from Qin dynasty. “I’m in somewhere I don’t know, I see for my dear! There’s a house, but I can’t see dearest. Go on now, I need my dearest to come back! The people can’t hear me, they should help me. I’m lost in a pulse, really!”
Someone brought Mei inside. “Dad, help me, please! I wanna go home with you, stop me! You can’t get me into your home, it’s not ours. I’m Mei, not Xiang! Get out from here, Dad you must find me!”
Nicholas, Fung’s cousin, teleported through the mansion to help Fung seek for the rooms. “We should explore dining room first, as the first puzzle placed there! It’s a kitchen cutlery puzzle, a match mahjong with kitchen equipments. Watch and see, the cutlery puts everywhere!” Fung took the cutlery from the wardrobes and hidden floors, “I think, the cutlery first should be placed in the knife sections. Then, the second at the stove section, to repair the stove first!”
Fung released a spirit of a chef from Qin dynasty. “Seal the chef spirit, with the dynamic fire from the burnt ingredients! Light out the stove, burn the cutlery together with the ingredients! I gonna find the wooden woods first, to light out and set the fire in. Burn and the chef spirit was gone!”
The chef spirit angered at the burnt ingredients. “I’ve serviced Qin, but you’ve destroyed all the cutlery. I don’t wanna be the real vanish first, I should power the world of chef kitchen. I gonna shun you from here, I wanna strangle you.”
Fung entered a ballroom. “The chef ghost brings me here, I see he’s cooking at the back stage of this room! The puzzle gonna brings me to the Mei, my dear, as I finish it yet. Just pretend that I can make you weak, the ghost is afraid of God! Chef ghost starts to cook now, I must find the new puzzle. Follow me, just give rather entertainment to the chef! Stare at his fool cap, like a circus man!” The chef ghost brought some boxes of buffet menu. “You can pretend yourself as a head of party, you should organize all the buffet here. You can’t ask for help, just follow the sequence. The buffet menu should be finished at 30 minutes, with all the brainstorm!”
Fung tried to make the buffet for the party. “It’s a crazy, thousands of boxes in a buffet. It’s so creepy, so old recipe. What can I do at half hour, I can do nothing?” Nicholas tried to help him with his son, Luckas, “I gonna help you finish it by dear, he can read all the chi characters. Help Uncle Fung, dear, you’re a good son!”
Luckas read all the chi characters from the buffet. “It’s a new buffet for me, so old style. Put the appetizer first, then the main course, and then the dessert!” Nicholas completed the puzzle. “I’ve finished the buffet menu first, as the fastest Dad. You can let us free, not caged here. Let us go with the puzzle gone, you’re a stingy chef!”
Fung went to the room with prayer altar, called save room. “I must find another room to save my soul here, I should put the prayer stick onto the vase! It can save my soul for only a chance, I get to save another by adding more sticks again. It doesn’t matter for me, I just pretend I can save Nic too. Come on, let do together!” Nicholas put the 3 sticks to save 3 souls from the adventure. “I gonna save the 3 souls, you and my family. That’s all my obligation, as a protector to you. Come on, go to the next puzzle!”
Fung found a shotgun there. “It’s a shotgun, we can use it for our safety. I think we can pass this challenges together, to get Mei back again. She’s in danger, I know it!” Luckas pointed at the picture in the room, “It’s a picture of Mei, Uncle, I think she’s captured by the ghosts. It’s a problem, we lost her paddle track. Where can we go for the next, to the backstage?” Fung answered. “I think we can find another backstage river, like in this house!”
Fung learned the map first. “Find the first crossword in this room, you can get the clue to know Mei! This a chi stage, you can do it, Luc! I can’t read chi well, you can read the question for me, so I can get the answer easily. Nic, you can write down for me, to find where’s Mei!” Nicholas wrote down onto the wooden crossword, “The word for eat is chi, and for drink is he. The Chinese word’s common for daily activity, it’s a crossword about daily routine. It’s similar to the question for school, especially for Luc. Dear, answer the question for Uncle, please do it by Dad’s name!”
Fung went to the hall, “I gonna see through the backstage river, this way to here. It’s a hall for party, so nicely.” Luckas picked at one coint left there. “It’s a bitcoint, like Dad done. I use the bitcoint for paying my course, so small. I get the one, you can get another Uncle.”
Fung explored the hall. “There’s none puzzle here, it’s just a room. It’s a way to the backstage mansion, so strange. There’s no ghost here, just an empty room! We can pass this room easily, without facing ghosts. We’re win from the ghost, but for a while.”
Nicholas pointed at outside door. “There’s a river, the map mentions it. I gonna help you to reach there, but with a glasses. A lunar eclipse happens there, we can’t use the naked eyes to see it.” Fung started to confuse again. “Lunar eclipse, Lunar New Year! Just go there, we need for seeking Mei!”
